Last Stop On Market Street is a story about a little boy named CJ and his Nana who every Sunday after church travel across town on the city transit bus to feed the homeless. One Sunday, CJ becomes very cognizant of the things that are not so beautiful in his life and around him. Each question CJ poses from “Why do we have to ride the bus?” or “Why do we have to go on the dirty side of town?” is met with an encouraging answer from Nana.
